  7. day. Mark Allen won the World Triathlon
  8. Championship, held annually in Nice, 
  9. France, 10 times in his first 10 tries. He also
  10. won the Ironman competition, held every year
  11. in Hawaii, five years in a row (1989-93).

  15. first became interested in the triathlon while
  16. watching the 1982 Ironman competition
